The Mug began as the most quietly loved object in any home. We preserved its silhouette — the gentle curve, the confident handle, the warmth it implies — and let it grow until a person could rest inside it. Nothing was distorted. The mug remains, unmistakably, a mug. It has simply learned to hold more than coffee.
